Question how to study this book

friends,

i m not good at english(both writing & speaking). today i bought Exploring the world of English By Sayyid Saadat Ali Shah, as many people on this forum have recommended it. Friends, kindly tell me how to study this book as it is a voluminous book.

I had also asked this question after I bought the book..Lol..
First of all study the grammar portion.Pair of words,Idioms,Felicitous Phrases etc should be prepared on daily bases.Practice one precis daily and read and try to learn the method of essay writing on weekly basis.
This is my method of using this book..Hope you would like it..

am also using same strategy, read and understand at least 2 pages of pairs of words, correct usage of englsh portion, direct indirect/ active passive portion and phrasel verbs or idioms (1 page at least)

Default Precis wrting

do give more importance to Precis writing as it is of 20 marks. for this i have bought a book "PRECIS WRITINNG" written by A.B.Jasra Rs.100 rupee only. all the precise of past papers of CSS have been giveN & solved in it. realy a very useful book.
