I got 43 in css 2012 despite leaving 14 mcq's unattempted due to carelessness though i knew all of them

my optional subjects in 2012 were :
Buisness ad
Sociology
Journalism
IR
Pushto
US history
and for 2013 i replaced IR and US hx with Islamic history....

I got 54 in 2011 and 55 in 2012

precis practice is essential to pass this paper.

55...messed up in grammer section though.

Perhaps my being a student of English literature and Linguistics. :)
The only two papers for which I did absolutely no preparation and was still confident of getting good marks were Essay and English composition.

Got 50 :0. Marks turned out to be a shocker. I was expecting 65+

i want to inquire about the Books you consulted for English paper. I have done O and A levels and now doing BSC Economics. Kindly share with me your study plan of English paper(precis, composition, grammer, comprehension). I would be very grateful to you if you guide me in my endeavor

I did not consult any book for this paper. Just went through the objective portion of past papers.
