I crammed 4000 words of GMAT and got 16 of my objectives correct. I was expecting 65+ in this subject however i hardly passed it. got only 44.

4000 words! So what went wrong? You think you lagged in the precis/comp area?

I have no idea what went wrong. These marks are still better. I got just 19 marks in C.A. where as my 15 mcqs were correct. I just cant figure out the checking criteria of FPSC.

Are you going to attempt this year? Have you changed your Current Affairs attempting strategy then?

I have decided to take the exam this year. Lets see for this i have to quit my job and skip one semester of my MBA. Inshallah, i will appear in 2014. I asked one of my friend regarding current affairs who got 63. He said he included the heading of critical analysis in his every question. I guess this thing gave a fatal blow to my marks.

I got 58

Did you practice grammar exercises as well? I mean, exercises of synonym/antonyms, correction of tenses, phrasal verbs etc., practicing précis

One of my teacher told us that every question related to social science should be comprising of at least three headings.

1. Background
2. Body
3. Critical Analysis/Conclusion

yes indeed. I solved past papers of and solved around 15 precis. I got 15 of my synonyms and antonyms correct.
