Default Same words as the passage or different ones

Asslam-o-Alaikum,
While doing the comprehension questions, is it a good practice to use the sentences or phrases as they are in the passage or should we do it in our own words. Awaiting reply from seniors.

It is fatal to use the sentences and phrases in the passage. Do it in your own words to get good marks.
