Can we quote Poetry???

Hope that you all will be doing fine. I have a question that can we quote a poetry of famous poet like Iqbal in our expansion..????

um not an authority to answer this questioon with sure shot confirmation.. but yes i can share ma expereince with u..

in css exam 2008 i quoted poetic verses both in ma essay and in ellaboration. it wasnot iqbal but it was shakespeare. i also quoted some verses form Holy Quran in them as well.

how ever i dint quote them for the sake ov quotin alone.. but i quotewd cuz i luckily got such topics for which i had quite relevant quotes and refernces to mention.

n az by the Grace ov ma Master i have cleared to i secretly give maslef a pat on the back for ma performance in english.

so now u can well make up ur mind.

Moreover i believe that the entire point of an essay and expansion is that they must have three core characteristics and there u go!!

1. comprehensive and relevant content
2. symmetry and reasonably good usage ov language
3. beauty and interest catering ideas
