plz check: the importance of industrialization
 

Industrialization plays an important role in the economic prosperity and growth of a nation.In any economy there are mainly two fields namely agriculture and industry in which it can specialize .
In olden days it was a misconception that one must be chosen between agriculture and industry.research reveals that both the sectors of the economy must go in cohesion to make a nation prosper agriculture provides raw material to the industry where as industry provides powerful machinery for fruitful and encouraging results in agriculture sector.
industrialized nations have high gross domestic products. their per capita income is comparably higher than agriculture based countries. deficit in account took place in Pakistan from its initial days and one of the reason for it was importing of expensive machinery to start the economic cycle and industrializing Pakistan.
electronic products have stable and high prices due to its innovation in the world market ,where as prices of agricultural products are fragile to climatic conditions that is why they are sold at the throw away prices in the world market.
the whole outlook of a nation modernize because of industrialization. people acquire jobs in urban center with decent pay scale and availability of consumer goods is cheap and easy due to local production.
it is evident in the current scenario that industrialized nations are the richest in the world like america,japan and now china. china transformed from an agricultural economy to the industrialized nation.now they have surpassed the economy of japan and considered the second best economy of the world after america. India is trying to speed up the process of industrializing their economy.
nations which are confined to agriculture only,lack behind in the economies of the world,their antiquated methods are no match to the corporate sector style of agriculture in industrialized nations.

Industry occupies a key position and significant role the development of a country.

Its development raises national income, creates employment opportunities and improves the balance of payments position both by producing exportable goods and by substituting imports, but also supports and stimulates development in other sectors of the economy.

As the country possesses the requisite natural and human resources for industrial growth, the industrial policy would continue to be directed towards increasing the share of the manufacturing sector in the total economy.

Emphasis would, however, increasingly be a shift towards deepening the industrial structure through an increase in the weight of high value-added, more sophisticated engineering, chemicals and other basic industries.

With a view to fostering healthy competition in all industrial activities between the public and private sectors, the government would continue to maintain the existing policy of equalizing the conditions and environments and access to financing for both these sectors. The “cost plus” pricing (formula) on which some of the existing industries are based will be avoided as far as possible in setting up new industries.

The government would continue to focus its efforts towards improving the technical and financial performance of public sector enterprises through suitable administrative and institutional measures.

Good effort in promoting importance of industries by quoting various examples, but a little lack of information can be seen here. e.g. you mentioned that [QUOTE]In any economy there are mainly two fields namely agriculture and industry in which it can specialize .[/QUOTE] but you probably don't have enough knowledge of economics. Economies not only specializes in agriculture or industrial sector but there is a third sector as well-SERVICES SECTOR.

The most developed economies of the world are those which specializes in Services, instead of industries. e.g. America is providing communication services (google, yahoo, google earth, trainers, consultants and many more). This is also true for Japan. They are providing engineers and trainers etc to the world. All the highly developed nations has surpassed the industrial phase and are moving towards Services sector.

If yes, it means industrializing yourself will lead you to deficit accounts, which is by no mean desired by any economy.

Further more your second paragraph says that Industry and Agriculture must go hand in hand but the rest of your essay is promoting the idea that only the Industrial sector should be promoted (a conflict of ideas. 1-1=0 again).

Your third paragraph is very poorly structured. It is not evident what do you want to say in that para. You started with high GDP of industrial economies and ended the paragraph on deficit in Pakistani accounts. The entire paragraph makes no sense.

Paragraph 4 to 7 are in coherence to each other, mean they are ok. Good paragraphs. Promoting same idea with a good conclusion.
