Default A comprehensive note:A fool may learn a wise man wit.

Please assess my short essay with particular reference to structure(flow of ideas)and examples and award marks.

A fool may learn a wise man wit.

Outlines:
1. Introduction.
2. Examples:
• Junior staff learning from a senior staff.
• Politicians of the sub-continent learning from Quid-e-Azam.
3. Conclusion/suggestion note.

A fool is a person who inappropriately and inaccurately understands a situation or problem. A basic difference between a fool and a wise man is that of perception. If a fool and a wise man are given a very difficult problem, they would solve it differently. In majority of cases a wise man’s wit would defeat stupidity of a fool’s perception. This is the difference of understanding and perception. But a fool does not necessarily mean a person who is born stupid. Rather he may be fool on certain occasions. Misperception and misunderstanding may show his lack of experience. With passage of time he may learn and become wise in company of wise men.

An example to quote where a fool learns from a wise is the relationship between a senior and a junior within a bank or an organization. In a bank, a newcomer learns a lot of things from his senior. At times he commits foolish mistakes because of lack of experience. But in the company of his senior he learns on daily basis and within a year or more he becomes an experienced and a wise worker of the bank.

Another example is from the political period of Quid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The Quid was a politician of great stature. His caliber and wit at the politics was invincible and unparalleled at that time. He was undefeatable in politics. Politicians, including Jawahar Lal Nehru, would learn and experience from his politics. But Nehru, despite his learning from the quid, made a foolish mistake by repudiating the cabinet mission plan which ultimately resulted in division of the sub-continent.

No man in this world is perfect. Every time he learns and experiences one thing or another. The learning is an ongoing process and therefore all of us should welcome all learning.
