No. It isn't a main idea or a meaning of expansion.
The meaning you tell is:
'When the well is dry, we know the worth of water.'

The meaning of expansion is:

Those who worship in church day and night. It doesn't mean that God is nearer to them and they are pious. Why and How One has to tell.

You can understand from this verse.

Ziban Say LaIla KehNa Tu KYa HAsil,
DIl Wo Jiger Hai Jo Musilman Nhn tu Kuch B Nhn.

Or

A Movli tu Itni Ibadat Na ker Ishq K Siva,
Der Lgta Hai, Tu Ibleess say Shaitan na bunjaye.

Hope you have understood.

If I am wrong, seniors can tell well. :)

Regard,

you wrote very well.I also wrote almost the same.I also cited examples from history especially how tyranny and oppression of Popes drove people away from religion in Europe.I wrote that atheism or disbelief in God has is deeply rooted in the immorality of clergy.I did not forget to write that ignorance of mullahs have caused sectarianism in Islam too.

Lets see what would be the reward.
Hope for the best.

from learned like u if speaks about religious people as Mulla is "shame".....Sectaranism is the vicious seed planted by Jew scholars from the day Hazrat Muhammad PBUH passed....to the date...to disintegrate Muslim by infusing spies in Muslim disguise.....and these are Mullas who told u what islam is by encasing the religion in their hearts from 1400 Y.other wise there is no pet method of even Namaz in Quran....So Respect.....Pertaining to above expansion....the best explanation would be" Mrz brhta gya jon joon dwa ki"....real god is in one's belief....otherwise what difference is in Mandar or Masjid....Open for Comments

Dear, it would create a long discussion which could be irrelevant. So stay safe.
If you want to discuss. Post the query in off-topic-discussion portion. Thanks

That's Good. :) I had thought, the quotation could be of a Mystic. So i poured mysticism and love in my words. I wrote example of Satan and quotations to justify.

you amuse me dear Friend,We as a national have fallen to such an abyss that we place responsibility of our failures on jews and christians and we are waiting for an emancipator to place us back at the pinnacle and glory while are determined to do nothing.

Get this society rid of Mullahs and our renaissance would begin the very day.

That is a right approach.

i might be wrong, but this is what i think

well guys i might be wrong, plz correct me if i am.. but what i perceive from the statement is basically an ideology that when you have something near you, the least bothered you are about that ... i mean it doesn't necessarily just fits for the church .. it can be for any worship place... mostly we see that the people who are near the worship places are mostly less interested in gaining the love of God and least bothered even... but many times we see people travelling from far off to the worship places ... i think the main drive behind is actually the Love of God, that compels them towards it ... we see an expert example of this in the case of Hajj for muslims. they come from far off there, but the people living in saudia are, i think, not that much passionate about it.. similarly many historic churches are huge attractions for the far off christian visitors but for the natives, they are not much of an interest..

hope i expressed thru, atleast some... :p

God bless y'all

It had nothing to do with the near and far perception. Rather the words Church and God deserved more attention.

There was nothing against any religion either. Church here is for a worship place in general.

The same concept as is in words of Iqbal :

کیوں خالق و مخلوق میں حائل رہیں پردے
پیران کلیسا کو کلیسا سے اٹھا دو

People worship religion rather than God.
The way taught in a worship place isn't necessarily the way of God.
Being a religious man doesn't mean you are a good man in eyes of God as well.
