Indeed life without difficulties would be dull.

Though trials and tribulations abound in human life, the charm in waging struggle against them cannot be overlooked. It is the struggle against the odds which makes the purpose of life evident. Had there been no impediments to overcome, life would have been bereft of its mesmerizing fascination. Hence, one may state that want of difficulties would make life extremely cloudy.

Quite obviously, everyone yearns for a happy life. Every individual dreams of a path shorn of stumbling blocks. However, in reality, life is not all beer and skittles. It is replete with worries, adversities, afflictios and problems. One has to contend with dreary predicaments at every step. Such murky situations equip man mentally as well as physically. They ignite within soul a spark of vitality. Man tends to explore and discover various possibilities. He comes to know of the sweetness of pain. the anguishes and anxieties make life more stimulating. For instance, when a child reaches the solution of a difficult riddle, he is overwhelmed by the happiness which cannot be measured with the help of any instrument whatsoever. Such is also true for life.

On the other side of the spectrum is the life devoid of pain. such a life is identified by dearth of struggle and motivationj. Man becomes mechanical in living that kind of a life. He remains unaware of the genuine remuneration of labour against the haunting barriers.

To sum up, life without endeavours would be barren, whereas a life filled with hindrances opens up various avenues for opportunitiesand possibilities. Hence, it can safely be said that absence of difficulties would make life charmless as goes the saying "No pains, no gains".

The world, together with its imperfections, is filled with countless blessings. For those who look at life with the eyes of belief, its material and spiritual blessings are end-less. As a result, they derive a deep delight from being able to see goodness and beauty everywhere and in all situations.

Anyone who acts rightly, male or female, being a believer, We will give them a good life and recompense them according to the best of what they did. (Surat an-Nahl: 97)
