" A great deal of talent in the world is lost for the want of little courage"."

Sometimes, very talented persons face failures in their lives just because of lack of courage. However, they're pregnant with a gigantic amount of talent but being chicken-hearted,they make no use of it.To accomplish a single task whether it is big or little, confidence is required. Now those who lack it get nothing else but failure due to their own timidity.

"gigantic amount of talent"

please use apropriate words. In quest of using difficult words you are misusing them.

"Exceptional talent" is little better.

you should use correct words.
I am not good at english also.

gigantic means "huge or enormous" I think it is correct.

Every word has its sense. Gigantic is used to describe something that is negative.
