The Great leader and the founder of Pakistan , Quaid-e-Azam , once stated : " Pakistan was built on a day when the first Indian was converted to Islam . " It implies the meaning that the creation for a Muslim homeland had started back in antiquity . It was the courage and acumen of Sub-Continent Muslims that led them achieve their dream .Thus , like Rome , Pakistan was not built in a day .

The adage " Rome was not built in a day " elucidates the meaning that nothing on earth can be achieved in a short span of time . It requires ambition , courage and faith in success to fulfill one's desire . The gradual and constant efforts lead(s) (omit 's') toward success . Furthermore , if one tries to win the world over night and he eventually succeeds , that soon will rest in vain because materialistic gain is hollow and vain .

Moreover, Rome was the capital of great Roman empire . it was the pride and glory for the Romans , who had shed blood and faced severe hardship to bring it in reality . In a case of Pakistan as well , the Muslims of sub-continent did not give up their courage at any difficult hour and remained firm under the leadership of Jinnah . And , Pakistan was the outcome of their true efforts.

In a nutshell , a great work requires a strong will and it can be accomplished only after the hard labour extending to a number of years . Thus , Rome was not built in a day .
Bro, I don't know about the material but I have pinpointed some grammatical mistakes. Correct me if I am wrong at some point.
Undoubtedly, wants are good if these are controlled but if they are unchecked they can ruin a person. Everyone have (has) desires, wants, wishes and even try(tries) to fulfill them, nothing (is) bad in this. But the bad thing can be if man spend his whole life in the accomplishment of a futile desire. These are the desires that lure a man to do bad and illegal things.
Allah made a man superior but he became a slave of his own desires. The one who makes the desires his masters, ruins his life with his own hands. If we see the example of our leaders, feudals (feudals is wrong, feudal is an adjective, you can not use it here) and landlord(s) they all are toys in the hand of their wants to get more and more money, power and strength.
And one who control(s) himself, his desires can control the world. (can't understand the meaning of this expression) Our religion also teach(es) us about the balance approach in every matter of life so man is successful only when his desires are slaves not the masters.

Anyone here to check itttttttttttttttt...
I have pointed out some grammatical mistakes.
Apart from that, I have not found your material up to the mark.

Do we live better than our forefathers?

The life we are living today is much better than from our forefathers in many perspectives. Today we enjoy all those facilities which were the dreams for our forefathers. Today we can fly in air like birds and swim in water like fish. The blessings like electricity, air conditioner, mobiles, computers, internet, advanced infrastructure etc are the things without which we can not even think to live.

The life we are spending is although not without flaws. It is said to gain something we have to lose something. So in achieving advancement, development we have lost our simplicity, peace, purity, sincerity and even to some extent our identity. In this society terrorism, barbarism, extremism, pollution, inequality, frustration, crimes are the daily stories. But the point is all these ill wills can be minimized only with efficient and pragmatic policies. These are the outcomes of mismanagement we can not blame development and advancement for this imbalance.
In the nutshell, the life we are living is much better than our forefathers.

I know it is not without mistakes but practice and guidence of you people can make me good. Plz evaluate.

An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth
The dictum is in the operation since the antiquity of human. It advocates the doctrine of retaliation as an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth as well. Meanwhile one must circumvent oneself within the limits of morality. If the limits are violated, it would render anarchy in the society. In this context, an eye for an eye is deemed as significant tool for social justice.

One should have to respect the sketched moral limits. Violation of limits is strongly prohibited. Moreover it is deemed as an act of a devil. Islam the religion of peace and humanity preaches the doctrine of forgetting and forgiveness .The holy Quran equally supports the view of forgetting and forgiveness. Similarly Holy Prophet PBUH never adopted the retaliation doctrine, even he was given countless difficulties and troubles by the quresh of Makkah, when the prophet conquered the Makka, the quresh were very much worried of retaliation, but the Prophet magnanimously forgot and forgave all the misdeeds of quresh. In this way they enthusiastically impressed on the generosity of the Prophet and accepted Islam. All this means that forget and forgiveness is the noblest act of all.

Meanwhile, in retaliation, moral limits is the prerequisite element. On the contrary, a physically strong person attacks the weaker with full strength, denouncing the moral limits. A strong individual in terms of wealth exploits the weak, by ignoring the ground equalities of justice. In the modern society, strong one believes in the old saying “might is right”. In this way he exploits the basic rights of a weaker one, on the basis of wealth .Similarly the nations having advanced technology and huge economic incentives use to constrained the developing nation with the chains of obesity .The enormous resources and technically developed countries have sketched a line of discrimination within the countries and divided into two hemisphere, the developed and underdeveloping countries. In this context, the world has witnessed several injustices done by developed on the basis rights of developing one .

Human is brutal and nasty by nature so it became necessary to draw some moral limits to avoid any injustice. A social and moral need is that a criminal must be punished on the basis of committed crime.

Man can be destroyed but not defeated

The maxim brings home to reader the significance of firm determination of courageous individuals and the robust strength of their character. Man of valour and audacity can never be routed by the hazardous rivals. History witnessed manifold warriors who triumphed over the adversaries despite solid resistance and bitter antagonism. Though, unfair circumstances stand in the way of heroes but they withstand firm until their last breath by their strong will and perseverance.
Various characters of courage and bravery stand exemplary in this regard. Nelson Mandela is one of those prominent figures of gallantry and nerve, who fought against opponents. He, by his solid will and spirited courage, endured to achieve goal of eliminating anti-apartheid act. He remained steadfast before his opposition to abrogate the discriminatory act for the people of his country. He was put behind the bars for 27 years and tortured by hunger, maltreatment and sanctions to derail him from his object. Yet, he did not give away the imaginative dream of his people and finally succeeded to abolish the racialist act. He was made president for his valuable services and sacrifices. More importantly, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for fighting bravely.
Valiant people possess the potential and proficiency to worst the worst opponents. The example of Major Raja Aziz Bhatti’s bravery and heroism is worth mentioning here. In the war of 1965, he put aside his rest and relax and he led his troops as a great leader. Undaunted and undismayed to Indian shelling, he withstood against the Indian forces to defend his country from enemy’s violent attack. He remained adamant against the opponent forces to protect the territory of BRB canal. Despite the storm of bombs, he kept standing on an elevated point to recognize the Indian tanks. He persistently performed his duty and kept fighting for 5 continuous days without sleep. Unfortunately, a shell hit his chest and ended the life of this great fighter. This brave soldier preferred death but did not surrender to the enemies. Later, he was awarded the highest military ward of Pakistan ‘Nishan e Haider’.
In sum, it can easily be concluded that man is unshakable and immovable till the last moment of his life. He stands vigorous against every risk and peril. Such individuals of courage and bravery can be destroyed but defeated.

Ignorance is bliss, knowledge worry.
The proverb calls the attention to a surprising fact that in several cases it is better to be unaware of the realities than to have knowledge about them. Undoubtedly, success lies in acquiring more and more understanding about the hidden mysteries of life. However, certain things must not be known to lead a satisfied and comfortable life. Children’s life is a great example of having a wonderful life despite being completely ignorant. They do not worry the ups and downs of the world but innocently live a pleasant existence that everyone dreams of such life.
Numerous cases come to a head to justify this unusual reality. Every individual would have been on a sick list, had they known about their actual day of death. One cannot survive a contented life if he comes to know about the arrival of his death within few days. An imagination to have the world a place where everyone is conscious of exact day of death, will flash a picture in mind where every individual is weighed down and lost his sleep. Blessing of such ignorance cannot be undervalued in a sphere where though, man has achieved glorious series of success but may not bear a bit of such extra knowledge.
Despite the fact that the possession of knowledge brings light in the thoughts but contrary to this, incomprehension also adds colours to life. Unfamiliarity with mishaps is fairly a special boon from the Creator to humans. The life would have come to stillness, provided everyone had been aware of the accidents and troubles they come across. Afraid of accidents, mothers would never have allowed their children to go by school bus and no one may have dared to enjoy on the beaches. People might have a lived a very miserable and deplorable survival. A very small number of people could have been found on the roads with pale and frightened faces. Not to speak off such happenings in real life but the idea of such survival even strikes terror into mind.
In sum, it can be concluded that knowledge, being essential and significant part of life is sometimes a trauma. In contrast to this, though, ignorance cursed by every person sometimes completes the incomplete part of life with happiness and peace.

Face is the index of character
According to the proposition face expressions are the harbinger of personality. A personality is generally being guessed on the person’s outlook. A character of a person is estimated on facial expression. In this context sometimes it proves fatal and sometimes beneficial. All it means that face reflects one’s character.

It proves fatal in the context, when one appears to be very decent and well dressed in his outer appearance but he might have evil thoughts in his inner soul. At the same time a poor in adversity with torn clothes, unpleasant outlook might have an element of goodness. Aftermath, totally rely on appearance might be disastrous. Doubtless, one may not confidently predict one’s personality by seeing outer appearance. Consequently these are the circumstances where outer look failed to estimate one’s personality.
While on the other hand a personality can be judged on the facial expression. In this context there is wise saying that face is the reflection of one’s character. Scientifically, a psychologist can conclude effortlessly one’s character by seeing one’s expressions and gestures. Meanwhile, advanced technology has boosted the process of predicting one’s character by inventing lie detecting machines and innovative techniques. Moreover, eyes are deemed as the best reflector of one’s personality. A person of blush eyes and strange behaviour can easily be predicted that he has been suffering from embarrassment. Meanwhile, a person with bright eyes, optimistic behaviour, is the sign of happiness. Consequently, there is nothing wrong to say that face is the harbinger of character.

In a nutshell, the adage is wisely quoted. The axiom philosophically reveals the truth hidden behind the face expressions. Nonetheless, face is the only prerequisite to prognosis the personality.

where ignorance is bliss, its folly to be wise.

In today’s world, it has become a challenge for educated and competent people to survive and make their mark in this world of ignorant, stubborn and domineering people.

This has been the worst problem of the world that competent people are full of doubts and ignorant are quite confident. Despite of benefiting themselves with the knowledge of wise people, they try to pull their legs and bring them down. We are living in the world where wisdom and tenacity are despised. People prefer to stick to those rusty ideas which are left by their ancestors and are afraid to see a change around them.

When the great scientist Galileo tried to remove misconception of this world by declaring that the world is a sphere, they put hot rods in his eyes just because they thought his views were disrespectful and challenging towards Aristotle. Similarly when our Holy prophet (P.B.U.H) tried to enlighten the dumb, blocked and filthy minds of Arabs with the gleaming rays of his knowledge, they hit him with stones.

So, our scholars should be firm and brave enough to put forth their ideas not caring about the consequences. Only then we can bring this social evil can be brought down to drop the arms.

P.S i'm 2nd year of Engineering and haven't prepared a word and didnt practice as well,so i appologize for the mistakes, please correct it!!!:vic

We might not all be great men but we can become better men:

All men, in this world do not possess an equal set of qualities and attributes. Some people are bestowed with higher intelligence and more abilities than others. Such persons, therefore, leave a mark on the thinking patterns of masses through their brilliant and extraordinary ideas, research and creative works. On the contrary, although, a 'common man' may not be able to contribute to such an extent, yet he can prove beneficial for the society by contributing as much as his talents and skills allow. Through sincere efforts he can render significant services to the society. In this way even the little help by all men will prove much fruitful to the betterment of human society.
Few personalities, equipped with remarkable talents, from the very beginning of their career, show outstanding achievements in their respective fields of expertise. Albert Einstein, Shakespeare, Bacon, Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates are few to name. They are considered as the great men of all time, and are remembered today due to their incredible innovations. Practically, it is the nature of their contribution to the world that imparts greatness upon them. It was their work that earned them such reverence. On the other side are the vast majority of people who fall under the category of 'common men'. After having lived their life, their identity starts to fade away and eventually disappears from this world as the time passes by, as if they never existed! If man cannot leave a mark on the sands of time, he at least can become a useful part of the society by extending a helping hand towards his fellows. He can render a great deal of service to the cause of humanity by adopting an attitude of sympathy, compassion and passion towards the poor and the needy. As Mother Teresa has remarked, “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”, the real greatness comes from extending the arms of love and compassion towards the downtrodden. God did not create man only to live his life running after his material ambitions, rather He assigned man with the duty to follow the path of righteousness and to assist his fellow beings. But in today's technological era, man has become self-centered and ignorant of the moral values that he is bound to follow. It is observance of moral values that separates him from animals. He can prove his humanity through humane behaviour. Islam strongly advocates helping the poor. It focuses very well on human rights and has suggested various ways to fulfil them. One of them is the economical support in the form of 'Zakat'. By giving Zakat, economic disparity in the society can be alleviated and the poor will be able to satisfy their basic needs. What else can be as great as feeding a hungry child!
Lives of all great men give the lesson that greatness can be found in the acts of love, compassion and dedication for the betterment of the society. For that very purpose the will of the person is crucial. If men were to follow Islamic ideology in its real essence, this world would be free from sorrows and sufferings. In this way a common man can become a better man.
