What I understood from this line is Teacher is supposed to guide you not to teach certain things which are true. Allah almighty does the same. he has provided us with syllabus and books and told us some of the right and wrong paths to follow. He has guided us and now it is we to follow what we understood. teacher should make student to understand and be confident on his own level of understanding things.

I hope i am right. otherwise other members are requested to mark my mistake.

What I understand is " A teacher should not let his student to learn or cram everything. But he should make him able to do by himself and let him search and then learn.
