Every journey starts with a single step. Small drops of water coalesce to form a mighty ocean. Similarly, to achieve something great one has to start from some where. To achieve any task consistent hardwork and struggle are needed.
Great civilizations of world never came into being at once. It was the consistent toil for centuries that shaped them into developed societies.
Similarly, man didn't convert himself into a social animal right away. Rather, he had to keep his nose on grindstone for centuries. Modern man is the product of consistent labour of his ancestors.
Modern scientific advancements is no exception to the above rule. The moon has been conquered. Cosmos are being explored. The genesis of universe is almost understood. Living organisms are being mutated for the general welfare. These all achievements in science are neither revealed from heaven nor acquired at once. But it is the product of man's contemplation for centuries.
The history of struggle for Pakistan also testifies to above fact. It didn't come into existence out of no where. But the muslims of subcontinent had to face harsh realities. They were killed, maimed and humiliated. However, they never succumbed to those cruel circumstances. They fought with vigour and determination. As a result they witnessed the dawn of happiness in the form of creation of Pakistan.
To conclude, all the great accomplishments, in any sphere of life, were never acquired like a flash. Man had to work hard for long. This holds true even today. From collective to individual level struggle for considerable period is required to achieve something great. As the Rome was not build in a day.
