Default Senior please check: Brevity is the soul of wit

Brevity is the soul of wit.
The word brevity is synonymous to the word brief which means concise and precise. Wit means the wisdom. The said proverb is an out come of Shakespeare's Hamlet where it was first used. The wisdom lies in the economy of words. Long and verbose statements make the readers boring where as the short and precise words words catch the readers' interest. Brevity is the beauty of thoughts. A wise man uses a few words to express his point of view where as a foolish man infuse all what he knows.
All the philosophers, wise man and scholars use few words which bear depths as of seas. The most compact exapmles of brevity are the proverbs and Idioms which are the extracts of the experience of centuries and are conveyed by the philosophers in a prolific manner. Aristotle, Socrates, the great Plato, Mooulana Rome, Jami, Shaikh Saadi, shakespeare, Bacon, Ernest Hemingway and the other renowned philossophers, writers, essayists used to document their writings in short but very deep and profound in meaning.
