Action speak louder than words Yes, it is true that action speak louder than words. Apparently, words are expression of one’s thought and these are certainly useless unless they are put into performance. It is obvious to say that an action is the practical application of a word. An action holds an imperative position in every matter of life and there is no single thing in this world that can be done without it. A man who wishes to become a successful person cannot be the one unless he acts. There is a proverb – try try again till you succeed. Now, here the word ‘try’ refers to action and this is definitely a clear-cut illustration of the performance of one’s vigour because he who wants to succeed and get his work done is supposed to act. Nevertheless, this is not apply to just a single being. In fact the importance of an action is quite broad – if a democratic government does not act as per promise done with the people, it will surely not be able to stay for a longer period in the administration. Moreover, the creation of Pakistan is a magnificent example of an action triggered by the anxiety and atrocity of the British and Hindu therein inspired by the motivation of the great Quaid-e-Azam along with his companions through words and thenceforth coupled with the desire for freedom; they all acted for liberty and achieved their goal. The great Nelson Mendela also acted to get his people out of the abyss of racism in Africa. Had he been merely uttered words; he would not have been succeeded in his stance. The people like Samina Baig - who climbed Mount Everest, Ayesha Omer- the first fighter pilot of Pakistan air force, Valintina Tereshkova – the first women in the space and many other are such passionate who rather beating about the bush, proved themselves with action and become a role model for generations. The significance of an action over a word can also be comprehended through another famous maxim – God help those who help themselves. It means those who help themselves actually do action by utilising their entire efforts – both mental and physical; they perform and strive for their required outcome and also get help from God as well. Merely expressing thoughts into words and do not bother to transform them into action are as useless as the bird without wings because action speak louder than words. Criticism is highly appreciated. Stay blessed. It's been 3 days ago since I posted it and now there are 52 views but not even a single comment. Kindly somebody comment on it critically. |

"Action speaks louder than the words"
Action is a process of doing something, aimed towards a specific goal. Whereas, words are just a verbal demonstration of that action. So the actual victory lies in the action, rather than the words itself. A person cannot build castles in the air. It always requires a foundation, which is the action. The people who changed the history of this world were motivated and worked endlessly for their objectives. They were not merely uttering words or statements to change their destinies. Nelson Mandela, an apartheid leader, worked persistently to get the equal rights for the black people of South Africa. He had to spend 28 years behind the bars for this cause. But his actions compel the world to recognize his demands for equality in status. Likewise, Quaid-e-Azam, the founder of Pakistan, the first ideological state in the world, didn't just gave verbose statements. Rather, it was his actions directed towards the achievement of separate country for the Muslims. As a result, he was able to crave a new country and change the map of the world. The struggle is never a piece of cake, it requires an iron will and direction to achieve the goal. As the Confucius as rightly pointed out,"When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps". This signifies the importance of action and the relation with victory. In a nutshell, action creates an impact; whereas, words faint. Its just a reproduction of expansion for my practice, but i really liked the above effort did by RM KAMRAN. :-) There is always a space of improvement, kindly highlight it. |
