A little English help
 

Hi friends,

I seek your advice in translation of following type of tense.I know it's a minor issue but seeking others help for the sake of knowledge is a good habit.
If have to perform some action in present continuous tense forcefull,should we use,

subject+must/have to be + present participle.
e.g "Mujhay Lahore jana par raha hay".

I must be going to Lahore.
I've to be going to Lahore.

is this translation correct?

Remember:
"must" is used when the obligation comes from the speaker.

"have to" is used when the obligation comes from somewhere else.

For example:
I must be on a diet (it is my on idea).

I have to be on a diet (the doctor has told me to be on a diet).

Therefore, both of your translation are correct. But depending upon the intention of writing; you must prefer "have to" or "must be" as I have explained above.

there are some special usages of must,have to ,use to,might,may,shall,will,rare
must = 100%
shall/will = 70%
have to 80%
may might = 40%
rare/seldom = 20%
this percentage shows the power of will or order
i must go means in any condition
i will go means it is necessary
i have to go means something opposite occur if i d not go
i rare go to cenima means in a year i go same is seldom
if u wana say "mujhaiy lahore jana haiy"
so mostly we say
i have to go to lahor
when u say that i must be going to lahore or i have to be going to lahore(usueally we do not use have to be going we use shall be going) so all this means that u r arguing with someoene for some reason and u say no"i must be going to lahore + time that is at that time

To me the "Have to is the best option" I have to go to lahore is the one I will always prefer because it shows both forceful feeling as well as completing the tense.

Thanks for the reference. I would like to draw your attention that "Have to be going" as well as "must be going" are also right in formal written expressions. Although they are not common in speaking. English Language Institutes usually emphasize upon informal or oral expressions.
