Correct the sentences!
Correct the Mistake
One word is wrong in each sentence. Find this word, and correct them. I eat Indian food for lunch yesterday. I will borrow you Ł100. He's hobbies are listening to music and collecting stamps. Two of her daughter are students. She don't like taking a trip with her family. My father name is David Haines. Please borrow me your car. At the second floor of my house is my bedroom. |

Correction and Explanation 1. I eat Indian food for lunch yesterday When you are talking about past, your verb must refer to past. It must be ate rather than eat. 2. He's hobbies are listening to music and collecting stamps. He`s implies he is or he has. It should be his instead of he`s. 3. I will borrow you Ł100. It’s an equivocal sentence which fails to refer the actual subject. The definition of ‘Borrow’ is to take or obtain with a promise to return the same. Where as “Lend” mean to give on condition. I will lend you Ł100. 4. She don't like taking a trip with her family. She doesn`t like because she is a singular second-person subject. 5. Please borrow me your car. Similarly, a verb borrow is faulty in clause. It should be either to give or to lend. 6. Two of her daughters are student. When first noun is plural second noun must be plural. 7. At the second floor of my house is my bedroom. Above statement is ambigious. It must be separated through a comma. In other case, A verb may be appended to correct it. My bedroom is situated on the second floor of my house. Allah Nagheban,

Asslamualaikum,
Let's have some correct and incorrect sentences and try to correct them by the knowledge that we have regarding English Grammar. My brother, Mr.Tauqeer kurd requested about the correction of sentences, so brother here they are. But reasons must be pasted. Judge whether these sentences are correct or incorrect? Phrasal Verbs Quiz. 1 Why do we always talk the weather about? 2 My mother switched the radio off this morning. 3 I will look your letter forward to. 4 He was nice, but we turned down him. 5 I believe in ghosts, don't you? 6 We will have to wait the bus for at the corner. 7 Melissa is going to look after the children. 8 I have to put the baby down while I sweep the floor. 9 Why don't you switch the music over while you wait? 10 Can you go to the store before we run milk out of. Regards..
