Should we do guess work in synonyms and antonyms

i have a query regarding synonyms and antonyms... should we do the guess work... i mean one may choose an irrelevant option and this could depict very much nonsense of the candidate.. so the impression to the examiner may foil..

should we do that.. will it affect marking of overall paper due to perception?? or this has nothing to do with the overall perception??

There is no need to do guess work in synonyms and antonyms. You should prepare them. As simple as that.

But they are asking about when in paper, they are saying when facing this problem during paper if any one has no idea about synonym or antonym of any specific idea then should they encircle any word based on guess or should they avoid any guess because of the fear that it may have negative impact on impression (especially when the selected word in reality is so different from the original answer and hence proves to be a blunder)
