I would like to suggest a very good and comprehensive book for precis writing and composition.

General Certificate in English by Alan Etherton

It can prove real help for preparing precis and composition.

Its really a good book it will help you to grasp basics of English Grammar. And you will find a real difference but you have to study it twice or thrice according to your capacity.... I think it need more then 1 reading for complete understanding.... Then you will find it working.

I havent said that only this book is enough.... I have suggested it for precis and composition... and you can learn essentials by going through this book. Well you should turn other pages also and you will find some other suggestions also.

Good point sister naqvi and IMPOSSIBLE.i have bought many book for english and i am preparing also.My exams of PMS are Coming.I am very Hope-ful for it

Where can I find this book "General Certificate in English by Alan Etherton". Is it easily available in the market or it is in library
