exploring world of english idioms.
 

hello seniors , I want to know that by learning all the idioms in ''exploring the world of english'' would I be able to attempt the grammar portion comfortably.

same question from my side also

i have not searched properly but while reading i noticed that atleast 4,4 idioms came in 2011 and 2012 were present in this book
i have not read all the idioms yet so number can be increase

There is no guarantee. However, if one can't read/memorize extensive list of idioms, its better to atleast go through all the idioms given in 'Exploring the world of English' book. It has been observed that quite a few times 3-5 or even more idioms asked in the paper are present in the mentioned book.

the Idioms book recommended by FPSC "Oxford Idioms" by W.McMordie contains an almost exhaustive list of idioms with their proper usage, i have seen most of the idioms coming from this book...

well if i escape the wrath of other people as most of them happen to be fan of "Exploring the world of English" i dare say Oxford is best of the best...Reasons: it is recommended by FPSC and they always recommend the best of its genre.....it's got almost exhaustive list of idioms which most of books miss...the usage is clearly defined...last but not the least this is written by a native English speaker so reliability is above board...

My friend your argument that it is written by a native English speaker is completely absurd. Just because he is a native does not mean he has mastery over the language. I personally like 'Exploring the World of English', it is really good and written by a true expert on English (Sayyid Saadat Ali Shah).
