We could correct all her sentences,but we have not and left her to correct her sentences herself with intention to make her read and learn grammar rules.
Our correction would have been of lesser importance, since she appears to be unaware of the fundamentals of grammar ets.

Simply our intention is to make her learn and now it is left to you to decide that which is of more impotance, our correction or her learning!

Hope it's no more strange to you.

Does the word "Check" mean to rectify?
The word "Check" means to examine,inspect or go over something.
While examining,you have to just find that everything is correct or not.That is what she asked for and we replied in accordance with the meaning of "Check".

dears aspirants Iqra did best and it is good to point out her mistakes and in this way not only Iqra but we all get help.
every aspirant in first stage can not understand vocabulary even I can not write english well.
practice is the key to ameliorate english expression.

Abdicate (v) abdication (n)
For king or queen , or any supreme authority
They make a formal statemant that they no longer want to be king or queen
For example ( caliph Hassan R.A retierd from politics , abdicating in the favour of Muawiya )

Abeyance (n)
A state of not happining , or being used at present
Exp… conflict between the two countries have been in abeyance since last december

Abhor (v)
To hate a way of behaving or thinking , because you think it is not moral
Exp…I abhor all forms of racism

Abjure(v)
To state publicly that you no longer agree with a belief or way of behaving

Exp… he abjured his life of dissipation

Dear Iqra taking an initiative is a good thing and i can give you a good advice in this regard...if you have a knack for learning new words then follow the technique i tell you.....

Keep a Notebook, whenever you come across a new word, write this New word in your notebook with Blue Marker...now write with Black pointer/pen the sentence in which you got this new word, also write the source, like you got it from Dawn in an article about Pak-US relationship so that you know the context in which it was used.....now write in Blue pointer/pen the dictionary description of that word and supplement it with another sentence from dictionary.....now keep using that word for next two days deliberately in your writing and speech etc and this word is yours for the whole life.....

Irk: Your friend's behaviour irks me a lot.
Endure: It is difficult for her to endure the harsh behaviour of her husband.
Consecutive: I can not attend the party because I have consecutive classes.
Clog: She was clogged in traffic.
Admonish: My father admonished my younger brother about smoking.
Prevail: God prevails in our hearts.
Devise: He devised cock and bull story about his absence.
Hamper: Our teacher hampered us from bad activities.
Adjourn: The meeting was adjourned due to bad weather.
Moot: The discussion about insufficient salary in the meeting can be a moot point.
