You should not rely only on solving the past papers for 'Idioms' and 'Pair of words'. You should also go through to one/two good English Grammar book(s) and solve/prepare 'Idioms and Pair of words' from it.

Respected Member! If you're planning for CE2014 then just go through the past papers right from 1971 to date, otherwise for CE2015 you've sufficient time to go through good English grammar books. What I've observed from the past papers is that cramming the past papers' idioms and pair of words are sufficient though exceptions are everywhere. Good luck!
