Dear the list of idioms are too long and there are also formal and informal idioms.It is very difficult to memories all idioms just try to memories those idioms which are present in our B.A coures and those which mostly use in newspapers.No need to waste time just cramming idioms.Try to improve your writing if u want to pass C.S.S.

Default Idioms "The best way to prepare them."
The best book to prepare Idioms is " English Idioms and How to Use Them by W. McMordie." It is also recommended by the fpsc. And I have checked all the Idioms of Past Papers which are uploaded on this website and every one of them is taken from this book. So, one can easily get full marks in Idioms if he/she prepare this book.
