Help needed in a solved precis of R.Dhillon book
 

Kindly guide me in the following problem: I am stuck in a solved Précis of the book Précis writing by R.Dhillon . The said precis can be found in part iii exercise 2 of the said book at page numbers 71-73. The problem is in the point 4 and 5 written under the heading of “Points for the precis writing” at page 72. These point make almost half of the precis solved by the author but these points are not related to the passage. It is one of the rules of the precis writing that your precis should not consist of any of your own idea. I have seen number of posts suggesting the book for practicing precis writing. So, I think I may have taken it wrongly. Kindly correct me in it.

Yes, this precis has been done wrong. It included ideas from itself. This is the basic rule of precis of not including your ideas and not commenting on the topic.
