Plz. read the following paragraph & help me by answering the question at the end.Thanks.

"The use of Chemical toxins,however,has been less widespread.Their large-scale us was first made during the world war1,but in modern history the iraqi army has earned a notoriety in using poisenous gases against the Kurd guerrillas and Iranian army.
The Russians've also used toxic agents against Afghan Mujahideen & Chechen
freedom fighters.But the limited tactical usages remove them from the domain of environmental warfare to the area of chemical & biochemical warfare.
On the otherhand,the use of toxins in Indo-china by U.S.A is textbook example of environmental warfare.The Americans used herbicides to defoliate large areas of enemy controlled forests & vegetation, the effects of which're present till today."

I request u to tell me whether the particular names/nouns such as Iraqi Army,Kurds,Russians,Afghan Mujahideen,Chechens,Iranian U.S.A & Indo-china will be omitted or retained in the summary/precis?Thanks.

I think that these particular nouns would remain in their places. You can't change or remove them. You would just change the whole paragraph into your own words, whether in precise or summary, with the same nouns. For example,

but in modern history the Iraqi army has earned a notoriety in using poisonous gases against the Kurd guerrillas and Iranian army.

If you remove the nouns Iraqi, Kurd and Iranian. then what that sentence would be.

"but in modern history ?? the army has earned a notoriety in using poisonous gases against the ?? guerrillas and ??army."

Or if you change these nouns, it will definitely be wrong.

in accordance to the rules of making precise what i know is that one has to omit the examples. but here in original text it seems that only introduction to the use of chemical and biological toxins have been given., if i were to precise this passade i would have gone in following manner.

chemical toxins were first used in world war 1. the iraqis and russians used chemical toxins against kurd and Afghan Mujahideen & Chechen respectively. use of such toxins damages eniviroment and the use of toxins in Indo-china war by U.S.A is quotable example.

i m not authority on precise . i did it to my best.
