all seniers are requested to make the precis of the para
if by some magic you could be granted one quick wish. perhaps you might wish to be popular. being popular means being liked by a lot of people instead of just a few close friends and that is a big wish. all the same you, too, can be well liked if you are willing to be on guard against the perils of popularity.
let us consider some of these. you cannot be polite and friendly to some and not to others with out the word getting around as to what kind of person you really are. when you are considering other people take time, to be friendly with the folks older than you are, your neighbors, teachers, parents, and other relatives. if you treat them with respect, they are going to think of you as a likable person, not as a good for nothing boy. and do not forget to be kind to the little kids too. again you must think of others and consider their wishes. a majority wins, you know, and if you are out voted in the discussion of what to do and where to go, remember that being a good sport is another way to help your popularity. a good lover does not complain when the plans do not go his way. at the same time do not be afraid that you are risking your popularity to stand up for what you think is right. it takes courage to say so, and is appreciated. ( 260 words ) Title: the secrets to retain popularity popularity is almost existed universally and liked by all. but it is not easy to maintain popularity even after gaining it. it needs sounds tact and careful handling. respecting elders. loving youngers, caring all, prefering others' wishes or being sportive can help the person to maintain it.taking bold decisions which need guts and courage are also appreciated. |

comment it critically
Quote:
you have successfully extracted the gest of para, and narrated it well. try to bring your own words by rephrasing the original. here is my try: Eveyone wants to be popular in the society. popularity accompanies its own sensitivities. One has to maintained a balanced attitude towards people of different tastes and of different ages. It does not require to be a winner all the time at the expense of others. Often, retreating from self-centred wishes is successful, but, one has to be firm enough to defend what one's thinks as right. Title: Popularity Accompanies Responsiblities. words66 critique is welcomed. note I have written it directly No first and second draft. regards

All have tried to attempt very comprehensively and hit right on the target.
Here is mine.... LEARNING the magic of popularity has been a desire of so many people to rule the hearts and minds of others (elders, little kids, beloved ones, etc.) by reflecting certain depth of love, a high level of respect, power of resistance, forgetting to think about complaints in this way...not only makes them the magicians of popularity but an art of retaining it forever in the memories. TITLE: LEARNING THE MAGIC OF POPULARITY Regards. |

Double click to retain the popularity
this is my first attemt to precis writing kindly the same must be guided by the senior members of the forum
Double click to retain the popularity If some how any one gets popularity, the popularity does not mean that some one is popular in is friends, relatives, neighboring etc. the popularity mean the popular in his society, in the public, not related to his family. This kind of popularity is owned by doing some social and bilateral works and by doing some valued exertion for the society. This kind of popularity retains for as long as he can retain. Of cores some times he need to take some risky decisions, and when the decisions gone on the right way as he like, it retains and appreciated. |
