Trees give shade for the benefit of others and while they themselves stand in the sun and endure scorching heat, they produce the fruit by which others profit. The character of good men is like that of trees. What is the use of this perishable body, if no use of it is made for the benefit of mankind? Sandalwood - the more it is rubbed the more scent does it yield. Sugarcane - the more it is peeled and cut into pieces, the more juice does it produce. Gold - the more it is burnt, the more brightly does it shine. The men who are noble at heart do not lose these qualities even in losing their lives. What does it matter whether men praise them or not? What difference does it make whether riches abide with them or not? What does it signify whether they die at this moment or whether their lives are prolonged? Happen what may, those who tread in the right path will not set foot in any other. Life itself is unprofitable to a man who does not live for others. To live for the mere sake of living one's life is to live the life of dogs and cows. Those who lay down their lives for the sake of a friend, or even for the sake of a stranger, will assuredly dwell forever in a world of bliss. 230

Serving life, like tree!

Character of pious man is like soothing tree which stands in blazing heat but benefits others. Although, tree is stoned but it gives fruit, and so is a nature of the best human. Kind-hearted man never leaves pure qualities in any circumstance. Hence, life is disadvantageous to him who is unprofitable to others. And, selfish life is surely a life of animals. Thus, he who gives life for others without any expectation lives an eternal life. 76

Good Attempt Masha-Allah !

For your quire

Adverb

An adverb is a part of speech that modifies verbs or any part of speech other than nouns (modifiers of nouns are primarily adjectives and determiners). Adverbs can modify verbs, adjectives (including numbers), clauses, sentences, and other adverbs.

Adverbs typically answer questions such as how?, in what way?, when?, where?, and to what extent?. This function is called the adverbial function, and is realized not just by single words (i.e., adverbs) but by adverbial phrases and adverbial clauses.

She walked slowly. (Here the adverb slowly shows the manner in which she walked.)

Adverbs basically add 'Expressions' to your writing.

For example for have written

Kind-hearted man never leaves pure qualities in any circumstance

I am going to add adverb now so, it would be form like this

A True Kind-hearted man never leaves pure qualities in any circumstance

Here TRUE is an adverb!

I hope you 'll understand

Proverbs are popularly defined as short expressions of popular wisdom.

Examples ;

Haste makes waste
A stitch in time saves nine.
Ignorance is bliss
Mustn't cry over spilt milk.

But I don't think so, that using proverb is necessary. Its up to you.
As far as Adverbs are concern You should adopt them to add a tinge of colours in your writings.

Good Luck!

Thanks SISTER.

Yes, adverbs are pearls of writings' rosary. But, its quite hard to use proverbs in a precise writing. Though, idioms are used.

Can we pen down difficult vocab in precise writing?

Default Precis writing needs no idioms.

its good to see above discussion, but the precis writing needs no idiomatic language. it requires the simplest language, although adverbs pay some Patel expressions to the writing. as i attempt the Topic may be, Living for others

Means, it should be the simplest.

Should precise writing be ever in Indirect-speech?

Be Simple & relevant!

Let me reassure you Zuhaib, though Mahvish has said that try being simple.

Usinf 'flory language' in precis is a sin to examiner. it is a BIG NO. Avoid using idioms and all that flory vocabulary. Sve that vocabulary and idioms for Expansion Of Idea.

and there is no such compulsion of being direct or indirect in precis. just be sure that you use a sentence that is compact!

P.S Use small sized fonts as this big a font does not feel good to the eyes of the reader

Best of luck!
