Can a precise be less than one-third of the original paragraph..If yes then how much? Any limit there or not ?

Assalamo Alaikum sir i have started from academy. All teachers are helping us but sometimes some things i cant pick. what should i do? i am B.A student and completed my previous study in urdu subjects but now i am facing so many difficulties to understand even basic sentence of english. Sir kindly guide me from where should i start?
