I think a good essay should be like a good movie.just like it does not bore the viewer,it make viewer(examiner) sit for hours,watching amusingly and attentively.

1)a good movie has an attractive start (good starting lines have long lasting impact on examiners)

2)different characters are presented in relations(same like we unify various subjects to a singular idea)

3)good movie does not have loose ends(after starting a topic it needed its rational end:no frequent digressions)

4)movies have songs(proverbs,adages,quotes etc gives your narrative beauty and comprehension.

5)the hero(main subject of essay) is focused,while supporting characters (examples,personal experience,citations,) only adds to story of hero

6)when every character is discussed clearly and precisely than movie is more understandable

7)climax (end of essay) draws the opinion whether it is hit or flop

8)just like a good trailer make you curious to watch movie,your outline must have brevity,simplicity,clarity,and humanity

the most common and famous topics are very difficult to attempt,for example in a topic like terrorism my five five year old daughter can tell that terrorists are bad people,they are destroying image of Islam,radicalism,extremisim,....blaa...blaa...

so when we do not have our own point of view our essay is thrown to list of 21 marks.examiner even never bother to study that essay which he can find in secondary level book...


now to your point.

when hundred movies are released in a year,almost ninety are romantic movies,but only few get awards.now what is the reason behind that difference?

clearly,those who get awards or earn money have presented in a different and distinguished style.

so by presenting topics like terrorism and energy crisis in your own style,which is not hackneyed and trite,you can make him/her read
