Well Sureshlasi gives a wonderful format picture of ur essay..What i would suggest u is Go in favor of the Topic...Well one thing more to Surresh point i wana add is First start ur debate with some introduction of the topic and presents ur point of view that you are in favor of the topic.And also end up with conclusionary points of ur topic.Well you can also point the issue of Muslim struggle for independence of our Holy LAnd Pakistan.We know its Sir Syed Ahmad khan who urge Muslims to Study English.And its a proven fact that all heroes of our Independence are somehow or other establish their roots form Aligarh University established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. Anti-Anglo Personnels at that time said even Kaffir to Sir Syed but its also a fact if there is no Sir Syed there is no Paksitan Movement.Its a perspective of our independence history. In Cureent scenario we have same Enemy the Anglo race so we have to learn their language to rely them what we are and what we want.Unless we stay back in race of world.Best Wishes for ur upcoming debate session.

I think it's fine if one writes the English translation, but more appropriate will be to mention that it's the essence of the Ayat.

The length of essay depends upon subject which cover introduction , summary and conclusion.The prefered length of essay should b atleast 15 pages. It must contain to 3500 words.

For securing good marks in essay ,It should b pleasureful for reader.Reader find interest to read it till conclusion.It is possible if it has astonishing Introduction which commence yr essay.Furtherly,Yr all paragraph (summary) should b related with subject without repeatation and cover all the aspects till the enormous epilogue.Yr english and style also counts so b concious for them
