Make sure you use different forms of discourse e.g. exposition, argumentation, description and narration.

What does the statement mean?Does it mean that we have to write an essay, using either one of these discourse?since essay can be narrative,argumentative,descriptive and expository.or we have to use all these forms of discourse in an essay?
