There are no difficult or easy words. Words which are alien to us appear difficult. "Appropriate" use of words is the way to go. Gibberish, imposed-verbosity and ultra flowery language are the aspects; which are highly discouraged by the examiner.

Almost everyone says that one should use easy words. Words that are enough to communicate your message and easily come to your mind as well. You won't have time to come up with language like Dawn during the paper so don't try to imitate it.
