In point number 4, you can also add that, One should equip oneself of resources that will help in achieving particular goals.

In point number 5 discuss the consequences of ignoring 'today'. Such as, Not taking care of today will lead to a dismal tomorrow and a bleak future. You have just discussed the causes of ignoring today.

Your content of the essay seems to be too individualistic and moralistic. Intrpret the topic in broader perspective such as " Today" can be contemporary economic conditions, present political scenario etc " Tommorow" can be interpreted as future so you can say if today we choose a correct political path, i.e democracy, freedom of speech etc than future of country shall be bright. In this way you give example from past experience of other countries too.

Your outline is very generic. In my view, topic is about bringing change in today that will bring stable tomorrow. that "Me" could be an individual, a state , an ideology and world community as a whole. you have to talk about healing the broken systems around us that need attention, and which will eventually take care of themselves in future. it also implies of not sticking to past and cry over it. Coming to the realization that everyone makes mistakes and that they are essential to growth and progress is liberating. you have to combine all of them.

P.S this idea was taken from Bible Matthew verse which suggest to not to worry about future because it is not in your hands, everything has its ways and they all meet an end.
