Furthermore, 3 important observations
Human rights violations came in essay 2015
Education topic was asked in 2014
Water crisis came in 2016
Recent trends indicate that chances of repeated themes in topics of essays are slim to none.
Would like the other members to share their feedback too

Here's the list of expected essays in upcoming exam. Just a guess, no authenticity of the fact that these will be asked in the CE '18.

1. Environmental Concern is changing the course of International Politics.
2. “The death of dogma is the birth of morality.” (Emmanuel Kant)
3. Good fences make good neighbours.
4. Digitisation and Pakistan democracy.
5. Relevance of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation today.
6. Food & Water Security challenges Pakistan may face in the near future.
7. Does the UN still matter?
8. Among all the multilateral blocs of which Pakistan is a member, which one serves Pakistan's interest more?
9. Independent thinking should be encouraged right from the childhood.
10. Women Sportsperson are building soft image of Pakistan abroad. Comment.
11. Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding
12. Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.
13. Destiny of a nation is shaped in its classrooms
14. Social media is inherently a selfish medium.
15. Utility and relevance of Parliament in our polity
16. Peace, Environment and Development: Are these Interrelated?
17. Don’t limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time.
18. Cyberspace and internet: Blessing or curse to the human civilization in the long run
19. Need brings greed, if greed increases it spoils breed
20. Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life

Very good topics, especially 5-7
4th and 8th are also good

Btw a small query and i am asking here since essay is first and foremost of the competitive exam, how good or bad is the quality of the answer sheets provided by fpsc? Seniors especially 2017 attempt givers please share your experience?
I am only asking because some gel pen plus pointer (uniball, dollar) spread their inks if the sheet is of inferior 3rd class...

The quality of the sheets provided by the commission is average. Not very good at all. Any inferior quality pen will leave impression on the back side of the page which will be a hassle for the examiner to check your paper. I'd suggest you to use quality pen/pointer etc to avoid any possible inconvenience during the exam. I've always used 'Uniball Signo' pen and remained stress free throughout. One piece lasts for two papers approximately.

I want to know that in precis paper can we do the easy answer first i mean of we solve the punctuation and translation qs first and write on the first page of answer sheet and solve precis on the last pages of answer sheet or comprehension in the middle? Is this okay?
