Can any one please tell what are the passing marks for an essay exam?

40% are the passing marks for all compulsory subjects.
33% are the passing marks for all optional subjects.

40 marks for all compulsory.
33 marks for all optionals.
66 marks for subjects having 200 marks... if u secure 66 in paper A and ZERO in paper B , u will pass.
Aggregate 50 percentage is required to qualify for interview that is 600 marks.

also note that everyday science,current affairs and pak studies constitue a single paper of general knowldege and if u score a total of 120 marks in these subjects ur safe although u might have scored less than 40 percent in any of the above
