Default A clear strategy to pass essay paper??

Hello,
The question may seem stupid, but it is a genuine myth in the CSS exam due to trend in previous years. I have consulted various sources and found few things common in whole guidance.
1. Simple and correct English.
2. Excellent outline and introduction.
3. Relevant and to the point.

But, despite following the above techniques, many students did not pass this paper on account of unknown reasons. What does this indicate? Does it mean one should rely on blind luck despite hard work?
Besides, what are other methods and tricks that the qualifiers used in the exam and passed it?
Actually, this question is draining my energies that if at the end, one has to depend on luck then why is the need for such hard work?
Thank you.

Brother, there is no need to be panicked and concerned over quadratic equations of Css.

One thing, keep in mind, essay paper is tricky because it demands constant and rigorous practice of writing, which should be flawless, coherent and argumentative. And,here most students fail;they put focus disproportionately on extensive reading, learning at the cost of writing.

Secondly,Don't approach css essay in the light of these negative experiences. You should go for your essay confidently and you will easily sail through it.However, don't be complacent in preparing it properly.
