Islamophobia and challanges to Muslim Ummah

1. Introduction
2. Causes of growing Islamophobia in the world:
• Rising popularity far right political parties at elections
• Rise of identity politics around thr world
• Misinterpretation of Jihad
• War on terror
• Indifference of the West towards Muslims
• Legislations in the west against muslims
• Theory of Clash of civilization
• Lack of inter faith harmony
3. Challanges to Muslim Ummah:
• Lack of democracy
• Education in doldrums in muslim world
• Economic integretion of the Ummah
• Growing extremism in muslim countries
• Ideological and political challanges
• Dependece on the west for defence and technology
• Looming secterian conflicts within muslim ummah
4. Remedies to counter Islamophobia and face the challanges to Muslim Ummah
• All ulemas must do consensus to avoid misinterpretation of religion ( need of ijtihad)
• Initiating inter faith dialogue process
• Curbing extremist forces
• Madrassah reforms
• Spending more resourfes on science and technology
• Rejuvenating OIC to unite muslim ummah

• Looming secterian conflicts within muslim ummah( Better to put this line under extremism section, better structure and coherence)
