Hello there!

I have heard much about the folks relying on notes or coaching for learning essay. I wonder whether there is any way for learning essay writing on one's own?

Write ,write ,write and get your essays checked by competent English Teacher .You will get to know the best way and your own style of writing .Otherwise ,there is no shortcut and one fixed method of essay writing .

Relying on essay notes could be disastrous as one learns nothing from them except cramming. On the other hand, coaching is always fruitful provided you take it from an experienced teacher. But it does not mean that one cannot prepare it by one's own effort. If your basic English is fine and you know the structure of essay writing, then you can write by yourself. But again, it is highly recommended to get your essays marked by a good teacher for improvement in your write-ups.

Essay is nothing but practise the more you practise the master you become in essay writing. For practise you should join a good english essay teacher or check your write ups by senior or mentor.

Essay writing usually intimidates one given the extreme word limit
The approach to it is simple, start small
Start with writing a para or 2-3 lines a day
But remember, start so small that you fail to fail; i.e. keep your target so easy, that you fail to not achieve it.
