Question Need guidance regarding essay writing

Salams,
I took a look at the last 10 yrs papers for “essays”…and found every topic to be different than the other…this made me a little tense because, I don’t know how to write essays on such issues…I just aksed my newspaper agent to deliver dawn on every Sunday…but I don’t think that would be complete help…
Do essays come from current affairs of the country?

there is a saying that, "to write a single word u have to read hundred words"
and i m quit sure that writing is a matter of concept. and i don't think that studying dawn at weekend is sufficient.u should read this daily.after a some days ur reading speed will increase and u will be able to read imporatant articles within two hours.i m quit sure that after regular reading of dawn for a month.u will be capable to write on any topic with ease. regards

Assalam Alaikum,

I agree with Mr. a-rehman, and like to add that no matter what the topic is, a good essay requires a writer to think outside of the box in his approach, no matter what the topic is, because there are about 6000 other people writing on the same topic.

So no matter if the topic is on the corruption in society that every one can go on and on about, it takes one's creativity to write an essay that stand out from that of 6000 others.

Thanks.

Default For Irsa

Dear Irsa sister,
The best way to pass the Essay paper is to get rid of the fear of this paper. It is an easy paper if you follow two of my advices.Firstly there is no need to prepare for the essay just keep on preparing for Current Affairs by reading Dawn and Imtiaz Shahid's Contemporary Affairs. Secondly Write as much as you can on different topics. Make writing on different topics your habbit, daily pick up any topic even you are allowed to write about the things you did throughout the day. Follow these advices for few months and you will InshaAllah find that you are ready for Essay. Please dont listen to those who says Essay is very difficult to pass. Just keep on working and IshaAllah you will get success.
Duaon main yaad rakhiye ga, Allah karey sub log pass hojayien. Sub kay result kay liye dua karein.

Allah Hafiz,
NCH

mr NCH is quite right in his affirmation regarding Dawn and Imtiaz Shahid's contemporary affairs,,,,another thing , what i learnt from a couple of CSPs that if you choose any topic ,first try to make as many points in ur mind as possible...then try to write down your points in a logical sequence.... and remember that your rhetoric should be coherent and rational, and what i have learnt , if u do it on daily basis , you can realy master it till the arrival of D-Day....

Salaam,

Continuing brother naveed, I approve all whatever he says. In case you don't achieve coherence in your beginning, don't get discouraged and continue the practice. You will find the target nearing you if you incessantly pursue your course.

Read everything like you're a writer who is going to write it afterwards.

Regards,
Adil Memon

Default Essay Skill

Hello Irsa,
Everyone is trying to accomplish something big, not realizing that life is made up of little things.
- Frank A. Clark
Dont get confused with the essay skills, it is nothing but the clarity of your views about anything. Why dont you try to convince yourself in a letter written by you with some arguments that you have better skills of essay writing than anybody else around? Give it a try
I hope you are full with latent skills.
