Your point C, boons and banes of nukes or nuc projects should b penned down before the solution/remedies. Before the nuclear proliferation describe the two types of nuclear energy use one 4 warfare and the 2nd 4 the purpose of electricity /power generation. Write also some types of(names and qualities) nuclear weapons and their deadly afteraffects. Include deterence as a seperate point. Mention the on going tussel between West and Iran on the issue of enrichment. Try 2 expand ur outline its insufficient. Regards |
Nuclear Proliferation and Disarmament
Introduction(focus on three points) a-What is nuclear proliferation b-Need of disarmament? c-Your own view point(very imp.) the above points a and b should be discussed as the situation stands now. 2-Two schools of thought a-one favours nuc.prof.....for deterrence(india,pak.,israel,iran,n-korea,) b-the other school of thought opposes the idea almost all nuc.powers those which acquired the status before 1982 and now want to halt the phenomonen of nuc.prof. so that their monopoloy maintains besides their ''realization'' that nukes are destructive in nature. do quote exampes for both the schools of thought 3-Duplicitous approach of those who call the shots(esp.America,Russia,China,France) 4-Efforts at int.level to control nuc.prolf. NPT,CTBT,START-1,START-2, etc... b-sanctions imposed on Pak.,India,Iran.... 5-Why disarmament is yet a dream again mention double standards of the super powers of the world and here take liberty to mention the cases of Iran and Pak. Here deterrence is justified since it is a matter of the very survival of the countries who have been pushed to the wall.though prof. remains ill-affordable yet the circumstances make prof. a complusion for some countries. b-Role of nuclear suppliers group. c-black market(even the greatest critics of nuc.prof.use this market to earn money--dilemma...) 6-Way-forward (All the nuc.powers and those aspiring for nuc.tech.should behave reasonably-----should restrict to peaceful use of the nuc.tech.) b-no double standards c-focus on ppl's welfare instead of pursuing hegemonic designs d-strictly follow int.treaties and norms 7-Epilogue With regards, ASAD |
