Poverty of people is directly proportional with the rise and fall of the nation, In other words, people are poorer because their country is poor. DPO sb,

Introduction should always be eye-catching and impressive. It should conatin meaningful sentences which directly hit the given topic. No stray sentence is to be penetrated into ur first paragraph.
-Always use short sentences in ur discourse.
-Pay attention to the correct use of punctuation and articles.
-The grammatical errors are punished.
(you have used long sentences and hav committed punctuation errors in your every first Paragraph)

Regards

I have a question:

Do these essays have to be in point form?

I've done A Level English General and English Literature essays and we were never required to make headings with black pens and divide our essays with points 1,2,3 and so on.

Is it required for the CSS essay paper? I mean, we read essays in newspapers and magazines (Time, Newsweek, The Economist) and they don't subdivide their essays so mathematically either.

Can anyone guide us here?

Thanks!

Not really. You can just make an outline on the last page through brainstorming which helps you in collecting and arranging the ideas.

@ Ahmed
The Standard books of english essay suggest not to use headings and sub-headings. I cant understand how the candidates use them in to their essays and finally menage to qualify the paper. However, I wud personally advise you to go according to the rules of essay. I did never use headings in my essay and got 62 marks.

Start your essay with any quotation or with any unique sentence which attracts examiner's attention. And in the last line of first paragraph u have to write your opinion related to topic. On this opinion u will then write your whole essay. And also use short sentences...
