salam! seniors i am trying to write an essay on religious intolerance but i am confused whether to prepare it from pakistan perspective or general.plz help me how to start this essay then i will handle rest of the essay.plz post an outline if possible.regards sabahat

If topic is “Religious intolerance" then do not limit its scope to Pakistan. Cover it in wider perspective including Pakistan and rest of the countries.

If the topic is “Religious Intolerance or Extremism”, then it is better to be general and vice versa. Starting paragraph is no doubt the most difficult one. However, I will give you a clue about start of this essay.

“Religious extremism is as much old as the religion itself. From the known history of four universal religions, the extremism started early after their inception. Religious extremism, like other forms of extremism does not show the thinking of major segment of the society, however, its approach due to its radical nature certainly affect the whole of the society. Religious extremism due to its polar nature also has a counterpart, and the conflict between the two, increases the severity of its impact. History has shown those impacts to be disastrous not only to that civilizations in particular but also to the humanity in general.”
