five pages???????????

i have selected a topic 4 practice EDUCATION--- THE FORMATION OF CHARACTER. Nd believe me when i tried to write it i could'nt write more than 5 pages. I believed that i could easily write more than 3000 words but when i practiced the mention topic i come to conclusion that writing essay is not an easy task................ plz seniors guide me what should i do. I have taken start prepration from essay nd if it will give me such tough time how can i give time to other subjects????????? Whether my decision was good to take start from essay????????? and should i go for any suggested book for essay??????

W. Salam, surely your decision is good to take start with essay, don’t worry about 5 pages keep practicing you will be able to write 3000 words and even more it is not difficult task. It can be achieved with constant practice. You can go for suggested books only for understanding writing style and getting ideas but you will have to write your essay at your own. Make outline and then write it will help you to enlarge your essay. e.g. think for 25 to 30 headings and then write two or three paragraphs on it this way you will be able to write more. This forum is a great help for CSS aspirants ask your problems here and we will help you.

Beside this time management is very important during the css preparation so give time to your other subjects also alongwith essay.

Do not worry its just the start. Practice will make you perfect with the passage of time. Mine suggestion to you is that first select the topic and think about it for 10 minutes to understand the topic completely. This is very important as sometimes it happens that candidates miss the theme of the essay in haste. After this write outline in rough. Mine strategy was this that I wrote 25 points of outline by storming my mind. Then start writing and write one page per point of outline. In this way you will be able to write around 25 pages approx. This will do the job for you.
