Wsalam

Well topic sounds good but it is not only cocerend with Muslims. U need to start it generally. U generalize it at first. Then go to specifity. Talk abt Muslim unity and exemplify the Muslims by and by coz its a burning issue nowadays.

All d best

@Umair

Topic sounds good. In my opinion you can go for the lack of unity among muslims, their causes and suggestions to reform OIC. Further you can quote the examples of Unity among western world, G8 countries etc. The issue can be further narrowed to disharmony among the nationals of a single country (Pakistan).

Right now i could think only this. Hope others will aslo come to have their valuable say.

Good points mentioned by Qurat & impossible.
In examples you can add Lubnan & Israeal's recent war & condition in Afghanistan & Iraq becoz Muslims there are suffering just becoz of the lack of Unity among Muslim countries. Moreover, Pakistan's soil was used against her own Muslim brothers & Shia-Sunni riots in Iraq are also a clear example of this lack of unity.Kashmir & Palistine problem are also pending for the same reason.Role of OIC must be mentioned as it has become just a spectator.

Right now just this is coming in my mind. I will try to elaborate it furthur.

Thanks Impossible, Qurat and Muskan for ur kind and prompt replies.
Sometime i think u guyz are ON 24/7. lolzz.

Any way, all of ur suggestions are very helpful, but Muskan if I including "Pakistan's soil was used against her own Muslim brothers", isn't it little bit negative, i mean one should forbid to writing anything against Pakistan in CSS.

Reality is reality, u can take it as an ambiguous statement too. Justify it in two ways. Be pragmatic and discuss things in the view of the whole world as well as Pakistan's context.

All d best

Dear Umair,

You always start essay with an introduction where you talk about what it means by the topic, in this case "United we stand--Divided we fall". You also express your opinion in introduction.

Now if you analyze the topic, there are two parts to it. One which deals with unity and how it leads to prosperity and achievement of goals. you would want to illustrate it with couple of examples. Second that deals we division and how it leads to decline and failure. You would also want to justify this with couple of examples.

Finally, you write your conclusion. I think, this is how I would write it. I hope it helped you.

@Umair

You've come up with an effective brainstorming, now the next step is sequencing of the points you came up with.

Muskan has outlined the essay in an efficient manner. My outline will be a little different (a little addition in Muskan's work). So here it goes.
1. Introduction

*United we stand--Divided we fall
*Importance of Unity

2. Islamic Concept of Unity

*Quran & Hadith
*Concept of Ummah
*Concept of Khilafat

3. Historical perspectives
Same as quoted
4. Present Situation

*Iraq crisis
*Iran's nuclear deal
*Afghanistan's condition
*Role of OIC
4. Present Situation

A- Muslim world's scenario

*Iraq crisis
*Iran's nuclear deal
*Afghanistan's condition
*Role of OIC

B- Western World's Scenario

* Euro as single currency and the economic development of European union

* The game of G8 Countries

* Hold of Elites on UN security council

C- Comparison

* Lack of unity in muslim world leads them towards disharmony and instability (economic & social)

* Western world, although has difference in agenda, but unity in economic and social infrastructure leads them towards the front end of the global arena

After that copy of Muskan's outline.
