Please advise is that necessary to make outlines for essay? In 2010 my friends attempted essay without outline yet they secured good marks?

its not necessary but it will be better for ur own to write a good essay in an effective way. furthermore as farah said it will help the examiner to rank ur essay easily

It has been question many times that is it compulsory to outline the essay. So I feel to answer this intricacy in separate thread.

Though it is not compulsion to provide the outline of an essay but it is prolific for candidate as well as checker. another reason why writing outlines is important is that the examiner requires you to write an outline. it is clearly written on the paper instruction to write outlines. so we must write outlines.

The outline of the essay gives more support to the candidate rather than giving support to the examiner. By writing the outline of the essay, a candidate would feel more confident during the three hours of exam, as he has already sort out the basic knowledge of the topic from his mind to make a full & elaborative essay.

i have not clear in my mind that rather we will give the out line as the heading of new para or in continously as end of first paragraph.
