According to it, Be inspired of a famous author such as Shakespeare, Wordsworth etc. Go through their all material; which would help you. Apply them in your daily writing So on....

But one must discriminate the writing material. Like some articles are full of slangs and futile stuff. It worths nothing for your future endeavours. Dawn is considerable source for it but It has nothing concerned with English improvement. So better to follow native author writing style. Atlast, allow me to add an adage; " I had nothing my own but hired from world colours".

Take care,

Allah Nagheban,
I do agree with you...
But i would like to see any paragraph you have written in your css essay paper or just a practice done by yourself.....
Topic must not be of literature (lolz)

First of all, to write an essay, one must learn how to write a simple paragraph. the best way of writing is to write what you read in daily routine and get it checked.
Essentials of Essay:
Introduction of the Essay:
Introduction usually consist of two things ( Motivator+ thesis Statement), one may start their intro with the quotation , an anecdote, dialogue, opposite opinion etc but one should keep in their mind that whatever they write should be relevant and the purpose of all these method is to catch the attention of the reader which is, ultimately, followed by Thesis statement(statement which one tries to prove in their essay).
In addition, Intro may also be the precis/summary of your whole essay which should be around 150 to 200 words. In sum, you whole essay should be look like that:
1. Introduction ( Consist of Motivator + Thesis Statement) then,
2. Body
Body consist of paragraphs
Paragraph consist of:
the Topic sentence(First sentence of your paragraph which is the base of your paragraph and which one must prove). Topic sentence is followed by the Specific supports( the support which proves one,s topic sentence)
Specific support consist of three kinds of support:
- Statements by authority
- Examples
- statistics
then,
3.Conclusion:
Conclusion contains,
Reworded Thesis Statement + Clincher( Clincher is your final statement which shows that your essay has been finished.
Moreover,Conclusion may be the complete summary of your essay as well but in different words.Regards.

Default Limited minds :

Every year, scores of candidates strive to attain good marks in the CSS exam. However, results are often disappointing as is evident from the recent written result of October 2012 in which less than eight percent of the contestants were declared successful. Apparently, the candidates are given an impression that they are lacking in ability. To reach a more accurate and impartial conclusion, one needs to dig a bit deeper by unveiling the unjust and wicked system behind all this. Basically, since Jinnah’s death, the pursuit and production of knowledge in this country has taken place within a narrow, ideological framework and biased historiography. Even a CSS aspirant has to confine himself to laboriously constructed religious and historical myths by our official spin-doctors, a slight deviation from which proves enough to wreak havoc on one’s result. This holds especially true in the case of Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, History and Islamic Studies papers in which the marks allotted are shockingly low. Indeed, a selection process that values learning by rote, rather than depth and breadth of knowledge, and assigns marks accordingly, is not only unbalanced, poor and rotten, but also breeds corruption and mediocrity in the long run.

Truth be told, intolerance for independent thinking has already done incalculable damage to this country. Since the whole nation is educated on stereotyped and suppressive lines, it has ceased to have a mind of its own. It has been years since a great intellectual, original artist, honest administrator or a brave soul came out of this country’s soil. I am one of the unfortunate sufferers of the CSS 2012 exams and firmly believe that I have been punished for my creative streak and unorthodox leanings. Plato rightly asks Socrates in The Republic, “Who will guard us from the guardians” if the latter begin to misuse their power? Undoing the earlier result and conducting a fairer and objective re-evaluation of the papers are still within the domain of the revered chairman. Owing to his responsible position, one hopes that he will seriously look into the matter and will come up with an active and just solution in the larger interest of the suffering candidates.

Yes you can start your essay in your own style. If you present your style of essay, your short story, then I will try to help you out. As far as conclusion is concerned, it must be according to the topic and you have to make your conclusion like a closing end up.

@ Mehvish Shafique

No matter, whether odds are in your favor or other way round -- keep working hard focusing upon the goal. State of dis-satisfaction acts as a buoyancy to lift us to skies, hence a positive thing. The effort injected to achieve a specific aim piles up to appear as a fruit one way or the other. Disappointment is a curse indeed.
