Post How many quotes, hadiths, ayats per essay ?
Assalam-o-Alaikum,
Senior members; Csp's and other aspirants, I wanted to ask that what should be the maximum and minimum number of Quotes, ahadis and ayats collectively to fetch good marks in Essay paper.
Is it ok to give only 4 to 5 per essay of 1500-2000 words ?

Writing quotes, ayats, etc. is recommended but not mandatory. One should use such references to present one's point of view in a clear and concise manner rather than quoting out of context for the sake of impressing the examiner. Quotes won't help if your essay isn't according to the topic.

As stated above, quoting ahadith, ayats or sayings of reknowned personalities is not mandatory, however, if you can quote valid ones, then its more then welcome. Further, do not be concerned for their frequency, four or five quotes are good enough.
