As i am new aspirant and going to appear in 2015.
I need your help in essays. Please suggest me because I am starting this subject from a very beginning level. So from which topic I should start an essay.

[B]You aren't bound to choose a particular topic. Choose any topic from past papers which suffices your knowledge and skills. Get checked after writing because you will come to know your flaws. Before choosing the 2nd topic for essay, point out errors from the 1st essay and try not to repeat. it will gradually improve your way of writing and shun you from repeating your mistakes.[/B]

[B]Both essay and precis & composition are technical subjects and require practice and more hard work. Since you're beginner so you should study grammar daily, its basic stuff like parts of speech, tenses and sentence correction rules to write correct English. Your expression should be free from grammatical mistakes. Language should be simple and don't use idiomatic phrases or pair of words unless you know their meanings. English is a backbone of CSS, so do study it daily.

Being a beginner, its good for you to first write short paragraph on topics like importance of media, courtesy, women empowerment, information technology, global warming, education, honesty is the best policy etc. It'd be helpful for practice of expansion and also make your way easier for writing an essay. Do write paragraphs on above and like topics and then start essay writing, make outlines and write on them. There are wide range of topics for essay, you can take them from past papers and current affairs. Do evaluate your essay from an experience teacher[/B].

[B]To fascinate your written expression, vocabulary and profound yourself with knowledge on general and current affairs, do read editorial and opinion pages of DAWN daily. Its significant for CSS.

The best way is to first understand the structure of an essay. Once you comprehend it, then rest is easy.

As rightly quoted by someone above, one should also focus on grammar as well.
