Failure of Democracy in Pakistan

Thesis Statement
Strength of the states depends on their ways of governance. Pakistan was unfortunate enough that it lost its sincere leadership on its very birth. Since that, Pakistan has been a victim of several ailments. Failure of democracy is one of the foremost causes of those ailments.

One can feel proud in 21st century that he has power to decide his fate. Democracy is the most appropriate form of government, as considered, in today’s world. Involvement of people at every sphere is a characterizing feature of democracy which ensures development.
Democracy, as defined popularly ‘government of people, for the people, and by the people’ provides a chance to people to exercise their will through political means. Involvement of people also ensures accountability and transparency if implemented in its true sense.
