The Masses' non-compliance with certain practical limitations on free speech can spark-off a great deal of political unrest and social disharmony in a society.Electronic,print and social media-three of the most prominent categories of free speech are transformed into a bane for a polity except if the people exercising these platforms base their actions on certain rules and regulations imposed by the constitution.On the one hand,the culture of disseminating exaggerated news and one-sided approach towards various sociopolitical issues justify the deficiencies of unrestricted electronic and print media.On the other hand,the position of social media stands indefensible for the provocation of Arab Spring,and the manifestation of profanity in the form of blasphemous contents.Conversely.the responsible practice of free speech incorporates the promotion of national integration and political non-volatility.These facts notwithstanding,the pursuit of feasible plans will sift out all these shortcomings and prepare the grounds for constructive use of free speech.
